It’s been a long time since I have been in the area. I was happy to finally have a reunion with Canoe’s Lobster Mac & Cheese. That was lunch and dinner for me. Spectacular. The build your own Bloody Mary was a real treat. Definitely worth trying and our server was great. So, the moral of the story- visit the area more often and be sure to go to Canoe.
A must visit place! We have stopped several times now and each time great BBQ. They do a solid take-out business or you can pull up a seat and enjoy the food. Easy access and easy parking. Great view of the lake.

Our waiter was very pleasant, the food was phenomenal, and the drinks were worth the money! I joke that I have dreams about my steak. It was a lovely experience. I can’t wait to have an excuse to go again!
The best BBQ in the area (Center Harbor, Alton, Gilford, Laconia and Meredith). Outstanding!!! Staff had real service with a smile. I asked a question, and they directed me to Chef Ben who was awesome and took his time to explain to me how I should use my new smoker. Thanks Chef Ben you are a true professional.
Rubbin’ Butts has unbelievable food, great service, they’re not too expensive, and worth every penny. The only downside to this place is that I only get to eat here once a year!
I was in Concord, NH for the NH Bar exam and stumbled upon O Steaks & Seafood. The food was amazing and so was our wait staff! The manager checked up on us as well! Highly recommend.
I wanted to tell you that Hilary and all the staff did a fantastic job on Friday night. The food was delicious and their clean up and organization was wonderful & much appreciated.
It was great to see them the next day at the wedding as well. The wedding dinner was perfectly orchestrated and delicious. I cannot believe you pulled off medium steaks 🥩 for that amount of people. 👏👏👏 to the Chefs.
PS. The Irish Bangers were delicious and although I don’t eat salmon, all the guests were commenting on how great it was. The grilled vegetables were perfectly prepared and still crunchy.
They have a beautiful outdoor patio. Our appetizers were great. The steak was hands down the best prime ribeye I’ve ever tasted; cooked to perfection! The restaurant is a little fancier than we are used to, and a little pricey, but the flavor is worth every penny!
Awesome food! I had the sweet and sour calamari. It was fantastic. I followed it with a huge ribeye steak. It was cooked perfectly and served with great mashed potatoes and a side of mixed vegetables sautéed with garlic. I loved the meal. The bartender served our meal at the bar. Really nice guy. Truly one of the best places I’ve been to in a while.
