Stars and Stripes Forever – 5K Run!

The Stars and Stripes Forever 5K Run at Edward N. Doggett Beach is on July 5, 9:00am (rain or shine). Registration & Packet Pickup: 8:00am at the beach or July 3 at the 4th of July tent on the field. Join in for a fun, festive 5K on a brand-new course!

Run along the sandy shores, cross the covered bridge, loop out Squam Point Lane, back over the bridge, down River Road to Route 3, and finish back at the beach. Cool off after the race with a refreshing dip in Little Squam! $15 per participant in advance / $20 day of (children under 3 do not need to register). First 100 participants get a free race shirt. Prizes for fastest overall male & female and top 3 finishers under age 13. Not an officially timed event, but finish times will be called by stopwatch. Dress in your favorite patriotic gear and help make memories while supporting next year’s 4th of July celebrations! Partcipants with dogs or strollers, please start at the back; dogs must be leashed and under control.
