I’ve driven by this place dozens of times, I’m sorry I didn’t check it out sooner. It’s very nice inside, and the service was great. The food was excellent. She had steak which was plentiful and out of this world delicious. I had the shrimp and lobster grits which makes my mouth water when I think about it a week later. Definitely going back every time we’re in the Sunapee area. Great drinks too.
One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The food was amazing! I expected the steak to be good (and it was), but the small potatoes were done to a soft perfection and the vegetable blend was simply delicious. The glaze on the potatoes and vegetables was the best I’ve ever had. My wife had the haddock/seafood special with haddock, lobster meat, shrimp, scallops, a delicious slice of mushroom, and more. She was astonished! We were staying at my brother and sister-in-law’s camp and we ended up buying a $100 gift certificate for them. Too bad we live 700 miles away!
I thought the pan-seared salmon was exceptional. My wife had the steak filets, which were also perfectly done. Our server was friendly and attentive. We had a great meal, and will go again, for sure.
I called last minuted, and they were able to get us in for a high-top in the bar area. Everyone was very friendly. Joe, our server, did an excellent job. He was extremely busy, but still took care of our needs. The Canoe Chips were my favorite and I also had the turkey tips, which I thought were pretty good. My wife had a pasta seafood dish that she really liked. Overall a nice atmosphere and fantastic experience.
My fiancé and I went here to celebrate our engagement and honestly our expectations were exceeded by so much. Our server, Ally, was possibly the best server we’ve ever had. The pork potstickers to start were so good. I had the grilled swordfish special that was served over the best parmesan risotto I’ve ever had and my finance got a 24 oz. porterhouse cooked to perfection. I’d consider this restaurant to be an absolutely amazing experience.
The food is always superb at Suna. I had a burger and it was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. My husband had the Southwest Chop Salad which was so tasty! The bartender, Aaron, makes the best drinks and is so kind, even when he is super busy. He is truly an asset to the restaurant.
It is one of the best place to eat and drink in Center Harbor. Drinks are amazing and their seafood is delicious. Service is impeccable!
O Steaks is the first place I’ve ever done a review for. Not only do they have amazing food, but the server we had went above and beyond for us. Ally gave suggestions, gave us space, and honestly gave us everything we could ask for in a dining experience.

We love to try new restaurants and establishments in our town but had originally assumed O Bistro was well out of our everyday price range. On a whim while driving by in the rain, I thought how it was just my daughter and I that evening, and I did not feel like cooking dinner. We entered and were pleasantly surprised that the place felt inviting and we weren’t “underdressed” in our jeans and sweatshirts. Immediately, we were greeted very warmly by a hostess who asked if we would prefer to eat in their pub area or their dining room. We perused the menu and were pleasantly surprised that the prices were no more than any other similar style restaurant in the area. Our server was very attentive and personable. They make their own variations of sangria, which were delicious. My daughter ordered the pork potsticker app and a ‘side’ of their homemade 5-cheese macaroni and cheese with cavatappi noodles. I ordered the roasted quarter chicken with sour cream and chive homemade mashed potato and steamed whole young carrots. For such a basic sounding meal, it was anything but. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy, the flavor of the potatoes was incredibly delicious, and the al dente texture of the carrots (which at many places can be typically soggy and straight out of a freezer bag) was perfect and everything tasted as if it were locally sourced or picked that morning. It was clear to see that their executive chef is an artist who knows his craft well. O Bistro is without question our new favorite restaurant in town.

Great food and a reasonable price. We ate in the pub, which was nice. Burgers, fries and Brussel sprouts were perfect! Servers were friendly and helpful.
I have been coming to the lake for years and hadn’t eaten here until tonight. Everything was awesome! I will definitely be back, if not next week, next year!
O’s in Concord is our absolute ‘go-to’ restaurant! The food is always amazing and if by some slim chance something isn’t perfect, the staff will not hesitate to get you another dish to make it right. Our favorite reason for going there is they have the BEST bartender! He makes the most delicious martinis. If you go, make sure you say ‘Hi’ to Robert and have him make you your soon-to-be favorite drink!
Last evening was our first time at O Steaks & Seafood and it was wonderful! We shared the Ahi Tuna appetizer, and both had the scallop entrees. We can’t say enough about how melt in your mouth delicious they were! Our server Shayne was the best, both helpful and personable. We will definitely be back soon!
It’s been a long time since I have been in the area. I was happy to finally have a reunion with Canoe’s Lobster Mac & Cheese. That was lunch and dinner for me. Spectacular. The build your own Bloody Mary was a real treat. Definitely worth trying and our server was great. So, the moral of the story- visit the area more often and be sure to go to Canoe.
A must visit place! We have stopped several times now and each time great BBQ. They do a solid take-out business or you can pull up a seat and enjoy the food. Easy access and easy parking. Great view of the lake.

The best BBQ in the area (Center Harbor, Alton, Gilford, Laconia and Meredith). Outstanding!!! Staff had real service with a smile. I asked a question, and they directed me to Chef Ben who was awesome and took his time to explain to me how I should use my new smoker. Thanks Chef Ben you are a true professional.
Rubbin’ Butts has unbelievable food, great service, they’re not too expensive, and worth every penny. The only downside to this place is that I only get to eat here once a year!

It was great to see them the next day at the wedding as well. The wedding dinner was perfectly orchestrated and delicious. I cannot believe you pulled off medium steaks 🥩 for that amount of people. 👏👏👏 to the Chefs.
PS. The Irish Bangers were delicious and although I don’t eat salmon, all the guests were commenting on how great it was. The grilled vegetables were perfectly prepared and still crunchy.
They have a beautiful outdoor patio. Our appetizers were great. The steak was hands down the best prime ribeye I’ve ever tasted; cooked to perfection! The restaurant is a little fancier than we are used to, and a little pricey, but the flavor is worth every penny!
Awesome food! I had the sweet and sour calamari. It was fantastic. I followed it with a huge ribeye steak. It was cooked perfectly and served with great mashed potatoes and a side of mixed vegetables sautéed with garlic. I loved the meal. The bartender served our meal at the bar. Really nice guy. Truly one of the best places I’ve been to in a while.
My husband and I enjoyed an amazing lakeside dinner for my birthday. The food and service was fantastic! Not one complaint. The view was picture perfect. This may be a new birthday tradition! We ordered the wagyu pops with chipotle aioli, NY strip, filet mignon, scallop scampi, truffle whipped potatoes, jumbo asparagus, sautéed spinach, Brussels sprouts with bacon, cappuccino, and crème brûlée.
We shared the platter with a selection of all their BBQ. Some of the best BBQ I’ve had in NH. Definitely worth a visit and the staff is also super friendly!

Excellent service. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was delicious, wedge salad was great, and steaks were cooked to perfection. The side dishes are large and dessert menu is good.
I went here with my parents during their recent visit and the service and food were fantastic! I don’t remember our server’s name, but they were appropriately attentive to our table without hovering. The stroganoff that my boyfriend ordered is the best I’ve ever had. My parents loved the burgers they ordered and they were cooked properly. Overall just a wonderful experience! I will happily go back to this restaurant.
We went during restaurant week and the food was delicious. Great atmosphere and we have never been disappointed. They also have a beautiful area for a wedding. Heading there for our 3rd time this summer!

We went to Chill on the Hill last night as a family (including 2 children) and had the best time! The event was packed with families enjoying the entire evening. There were ice sculptures, tasty food and drinks, tubing for the kids, fire pits, great music by a dj, and corn hole. It is an event that we will definitely attend next year. We also look forward to going in for dinner soon. The staff was also wonderful. I had a headache when I got there and one of the staff members was so friendly and quick to find me ibuprofen and a cold water to be able to fully enjoy the night. Thanks for a great event!
Great ambiance, friendly service and the most addictive potato chips that ever existed. I highly suggest trying the canoe chip appetizer. Insanely good chips.
This place was great!!! Our server was great and very personable, the food was delicious and the menu definitely had some unique meals. The meat was melt in your mouth and we will 100% be back.
First of all, NOBODY was open on Thanksgiving Day except Canoe, so was kind of prepared for an overworked, resentful staff missing their holiday. BUT what we found was a beautiful place, gracious staff and absolutely wonderful food…and lots of really happy customers. We will be back. Magic Foods Catering was AMAZING! After 2 years of delaying a retirement party due to COVID, Andy and his team catered for 400 guests on August 21, 2022, in Freedom, NH. Andy and Shannon were easy to work with and very accommodating every time we had to push the date back another year. They helped us plan and execute a smooth event for everyone who attended. I cannot say enough good things about the food, staff, and attention to detail Magic Foods Catering provided. I would recommend Andy and his team to anyone looking for fantastic food and service!

We had a beautiful wedding and rehearsal dinner at the Inn on Main this summer and were very pleased with the final results. Jenn, the new manager, was very easy to work with, communicated well, and made our day feel very special and stress-free. Jenn took over about two months before our wedding date and was able to jump right in, answer all our questions, and give us great suggestions. This felt like such a relief as the manager prior to Jenn, that we had worked with for about 8 months, always left us feeling frustrated, uncertain and unclear, and would take weeks to get back to us each time we asked a question. Overall, with the new management, we would definitely recommend this venue. The food was delicious, and we were happy with the staff and service. The Inn on Main is a very reasonably priced venue in a beautiful area.
We want to tell you and your company how much we appreciated your support with the wedding planning and execution. The food for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception was excellent and very much enjoyed by our guests and family.

The food is fantastic here. The chef was super friendly and he’s local to where I grew up so we chatted a bit about “home”. We got the plate for 2 and we couldn’t finish it. We had some for days later. The kielbasa is to die for. I mean I can’t stop thinking about how delicious it was. You will be seeing us again!
Went there tonight with my girlfriend, waiter was nice and friendly, I got the lobster macaroni and cheese, she got the tenderloin medallions. The waitress came back every 5 minutes to check on us, food was nice and hot and very good, will definitely be going back as soon as possible I highly recommend this place. PS don’t forget to leave a good tip.

Very popular restaurant in Concord, with lots of regular customers. Even though it is typically very busy, the staff are nice and attentive. The food is good and the drinks are great too. Plenty of parking is available in the parking garage if a spot isn’t available on the street.

Ordered the family meal for two tonight with Mac and cheese and broccoli salad. Also got the brisket added. Can honestly say this is some of the best BBQ you’ll find in New England. Portions were fantastic and everything was cooked so well!!! Will definitely be going back.
We have ordered takeout several times and the food never disappoints. I absolutely love the pork dumplings and my husband recommends the steak tips with mashed potatoes. When dining in, the wait staff are extremely knowledgeable of the menu and attentive to your every need.
Great food, great wine and an attentive waiter. I got the special pan seared grouper and paired it with a glass of Kim Crawford sauvignon blanc it was excellent. Definitely a great place to go on a date with someone worthwhile.
Excellent. All around. We sat in the Bistro. The Short Ribs are awesome, I had the Ahi Tuna dinner, cooked perfect. Can’t remember the name but the Asian Chicken appetizer was great too. Went by boat. Good time.
We had such great service at a going away party for friends. The fireplace was kept clean and roaring. The fruit and veggie platters were artwork. The staff was friendly, and quick.

Food was very good, waiter was spot on and checking frequently on how things were. My elderly parents live in town and this is a great spot for all of us to get together.

We made reservations for 8:00pm on a Saturday and were seated about 5 minutes later. I am sure that during the summer season it would be longer. Both dinners were very good. The beef and fish were cooked as ordered and quite tasty. Our waiter (Alex) was excellent and provided a positive mood. Price was reasonable for food, one wine, and desert.
Had a fantastic dinner with really great people. Beth the bartender knew how to make the perfect espresso martini while Scott the owner was personable and cook me the best sirloin steak and a fantastic pork belly appetizer paired with the perfect dressing. My wife and I saw so much good food come out we were confused on what to get. But there are no bad choices. A perfect end to a great holiday getaway.

We have eaten at Canoe for many years. Recently we held a small wedding reception (60 people) there. The entire wait staff, bartenders , and general manager, Suki, were friendly, personable, and very accommodating. The food, including the charcuterie platter, hot and cold appetizers and the main courses were delicious. Their attention to detail and professionalism made for a very “special and magical day”. We were treated to so much delicious food. There were 7 of us (including a vegan) and not a single person had a complaint (3 appetizers, 7 entrees, and 3 desserts later).

Suna is super. Great staff, beautiful clean establishment with wonderful food. I’ve been visiting there since Suna opened, and the food is scrumptious. Appetizers are lovely, entree’s never disappoint. I have to say, I have never been able to sample the desserts yet. I’m always satisfied and no more room for pudding!

I’m a huge bbq critic, this place has really good food, everything I tried was great!
First time to this establishment and we were more than impressed. The brisket was thick cut and very juicy and flavorful, perfect amount of smoke. The pulled pork was juicy and flavorful even without sauce. The beans here are excellent and possibly the best BBQ beans this traveler has ever had in the states. Jalapeño cornbread was deliciously moist with just the right amount of kick and sweetness. The staff was friendly and experienced. The food prep areas and service areas were impeccably clean even on a busy summer Sunday. Rubbin Butts just moved to the top of my list for premier authentic BBQ in New Hampshire. Well done we will be back.

I felt like I was tasting my own recipes and you can taste the love that was not only put into the meat, but the delectable sides as well. The broccoli salad had the tangy/crunchy/sweet that hits the spot. The Mac & Cheese was perfect…my daughter wants to drive back up just for more Mac…
We ordered the Dinner for 4 with Brisket and you get a little bit of everything (easily makes 2 days of meals). Came with extra sauces and high quality containers. I can’t say enough how they’ve thought of everything and just done it the right way.
We love the name, but this joint is so much more than just a catchy name. Drove up from Tilton to grab lunch, I would gladly drive across the state for Rubbin’ Butts BBQ again!

One of the few restaurants open in downtown Concord on a Monday. Top-quality, top-shelf martinis expertly made. Great attentive bar service; beautiful circular bar was hopping with the after-work crowd. We shared a classic jumbo shrimp cocktail app with the extra jumbo for $5, followed by steaks perfectly cooked. A wonderful oasis on a day-off Monday. Glad we stopped. We’ll be back.

Upscale American style menu in a beautiful setting. Food was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Dinner – let’s start off with blackened ahi tuna, followed by salads & grilled to perfection huge grilled New York Prime steaks with parmesan whipped potatoes! Raspberry sorbet to finish. Doggy bags to go. Booyah!
We came back two nights later and Doris went for their delicious Kobe Meatloaf while I chose the awesome, perfectly cooked Kobe Beef Burger. Both nights Doris has glasses of Chianti Wine while I went with the Moat Mountain Draft Beer.

The entire wait staff, bartenders, and general manager, Suki, were friendly, personable, and very accommodating. The food, including the charcuterie platter, hot and cold appetizers and the main courses were delicious. Their attention to detail and professionalism made for a very “special and magical day”. We’ve been to the Canoe Restaurant & Tavern in Center Harbor, NH quite a few times over the past several years. Because of the pandemic we chose to utilize their take-out service the past 3 times. Just a few hundred yards away is the town beach, docks and boat ramp which has a very nice view of the lake. We typically park there and enjoy our food. I typically get the Chicken Parmigiana dinner, yet the Kobe burgers have also been good.
I want to give a huge shout out to Patti and Matt at O Bistro! We went for a bachelorette and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with SO much positive energy and excitement!
We were treated to so much delicious food. There were 7 of us (including a vegan) and not a single person had a complaint (3 appetizers, 7 entrees, and 3 desserts later).
O Bistro exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be back if we are in the area!
Love the place. Patti is the best. Chef Elvis makes creative and delicious meals. I highly recommend it. Our favorite restaurant. We eat there every Saturday. And Kim is bartender extraordinaire! The waitstaff is the best, personable, attentive and knowledgeable. Tables are spaced safely apart. Bar seating and restaurant seating, accommodating parties of different sizes. Five star in every way!
Made a last minute reservation on a Tuesday night and we were not disappointed! Megan our server could not have been more friendly and professional! The Barrel Project on a rock cocktail is not to be missed! The haddock over spinach was a fish & veggie lovers delight! The vegetable risotto -a creative dish! Looking forward to returning.
Pretty atmosphere, warm ambiance, great service, delicious appetizers, meals and drinks. This time I ordered the short rib stroganoff and loved it. Had Asian chicken appetizer as well as the calamari and the pork dumplings and they were all wonderful! Hubby loved his meatloaf and son in law loved his steak that was on special that evening. Great job!
O Bistro used to be one the best kept secrets in town but not anymore! Food is so good and portions are huge. The staff is amazing – Patti simply couldn’t be a nicer or harder working and John at the bar is terrific. We wish you nothing but continued success and we will come back again and again.
Modern and refined, I loved every app, entree, & dessert. (apps: brussels sprouts, orange chicken, bistro chips. entree: fried rice, roasted chicken, fish n chips) and to complete the 5 star experience – a wonderful staff (shout out Matt & Patti!) also, both sangrias 10/10
First time to this establishment and we were more than impressed. The brisket was thick cut and very juicy and flavorful, perfect amount of smoke. The pulled pork was juicy and flavorful even without sauce. The beans here are excellent and possibly the best BBQ beans this traveler has ever had in the states. Jalapeño cornbread was deliciously moist with just the right amount of kick and sweetness. The staff was friendly and experienced. The food prep areas and service areas were impeccably clean even on a busy summer Sunday. Rubbin Butts just moved to the top of my list for premier authentic BBQ in New Hampshire. Well done we will be back.

The atmosphere was great and our waitress did a marvelous job. She recommended their grill special and she was spot on! It was absolutely delicious!! The carrot cake was obviously delicious as well.

We came here for my sister’s graduation dinner. The atmosphere was beautiful and upscale. I ordered an aviation martini and it was different from anything I’ve had but soo good. The crabcake and pops were to die for as appetizers and the salmon was also delicious. Julianna was our server and gave us an overall wonderful experience!

Awesome food! Fall apart brisket and great ribs. We got dinner for 2 and added the brisket, to go. They made sure we had everything we needed. Very plesant and relaxed atomosphere. Highly recommend!
Hi , My fiancée and I ate here this past weekend. This was our second time coming here. It was amazing! We are from Medford Massachusetts and have been telling all our friends about O. The food is amazing from the main course all the way down to the bread and butter, it’s perfect. The service is top notch. We love the steak , my fiancée is a firefighter and he has been telling all his fellow firefighters that you guys have the best steak in New England. We have been to many restaurants and nothing beats O !

5 stars- As a chef & former BBQ joint owner, I can verify that these guys are doing it RIGHT!! I felt like I was tasting my own recipes and you can taste the love that was not only put into the meat, but the delectable sides as well. The broccoli salad had the tangy/crunchy/sweet that hits the spot. The Mac & Cheese was perfect…my daughter wants to drive back up just for more Mac… We ordered the Dinner for 4 with Brisket and you get a little bit of everything (easily makes 2 days of meals). Came with extra sauces and high quality containers. I can’t say enough how they’ve thought of everything and just done it the right way. We love the name, but this joint is so much more than just a catchy name. Drove up from Tilton to grab lunch, I would gladly drive across the state for Rubbin’ Butts BBQ again!

Oh-So-Rare Tablecloths
Lovely restaurant with oh-so-rare white tablecloths – but not too formal either. Perfect for a date. Great service. A strong selection of wine. We sat at the tables but there was also a less formal bar area which was very lively and inviting.
A Local Favorite
We eat or get take out at least once a week from here! I have my favorites but so much is great! Known for their amazing mac n cheese, canoe chips and pot stickers! Great atmosphere with the new update they did. Highly recommend.
